Position Available  – Senior Sales Manager

Brick is an independently run brewery that started from humble roots in a Peckham shed. Since 2013 we have been building our brewery; first from a railway arch in Peckham Rye, SE London and have expanded with an additional production site in Deptford, which means more beer, for more people.  With the increased capacity, we are looking for someone to join our ever-growing team as a key player to drive sales within London, the UK and export.

As a Senior sales professional you will be responsible for managing and supporting key customer relationships across the on and off trade including wholesale, independent trade, regional/national operators and export.  This will be equally split between targeting and winning new business and supporting existing relationships.

Key Deliverables:

  • Head up our Sales team and set the strategy in line with the overall Business Strategy to drive our product and reach across the UK market and Export
  • To deliver agreed sales targets in terms of volume & profit
  • To maintain and grow our customer base by building strong relationships, provide training and support to ensure we have the optimum range and visibility
  • To identify national and international growth opportunities and win new business to grow volumes and your outlet base
  • Track, report on and manage performance of your outlets by analysing sales data and reacting to any change in sales accordingly
  • Manage customer relationships and identify, plan, manage and participate in events at the brewery taproom and account sites as well as trade shows
  • At all times, be our brand ambassador and be a face of Brick whilst delivering our strategic message
  • Be fully conversant in all Brick Brewery products, as well as competitor products
  • Work with the wider team to execute order processing, delivery schedules, invoicing and stock allocation

Who are we looking for: 

  • A senior sales person with a solid and established network within the craft beer industry including wholesale, key accounts, independents and export
  • Ability to build relationships
  • Strong presentation and communications skills
  • Experience selling in the beer trade across the UK and Internationally
  • Experience working with main UK and international distributors
  • A confident, enthusiastic & energetic personality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commercial acumen with experience in structuring deals and strategic planning
  • Industry networking skills
  • Highly organised individual with a good knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Someone passionate about the brand and craft beer
  • A positive and can do attitude in a fast paced working environment and willingness to work long or flexible hours when required
  • Experience of managing people is desirable
  • Legal right to work in the UK

The Brick Brewery Tap Room is open Tuesday-Thursday 5pm to 10pm; Friday and Saturday 12 noon to 12am and Sunday 12noon to 8pm. Food served every day by Slow Richie’s, except Tuesday’s.
