Amateur Brewers Competition

Following the overwhelming success of last year’s event, we are hosting our second Peckham Amateur Beer Festival at the Taproom with London Amateur Brewers. Brewers will be able to choose one out of eleven categories, following the acronym PECKHAM LIFE, some broad and encompassing, some limited and restrictive, but hopefully covering most major styles. This is to give visitors a wide range of options, and showcase the innovation and diversity of the homebrew scene. Although principally organised by LAB, this competition will be open to all London homebrewers and, indeed, anyone else who can get themselves and their beer to Peckham at the right time! We hope it will be a good opportunity for homebrewers to socialise, share some beer and have a good time…. with a big slice of competitiveness to make it interesting! All open spots have been taken for the entries but there is a waiting list in case of any drop outs.

Visitors will be able to taste each beer and decide which is their favourite for an overall winner. Brick Brewery brewers will also be around throughout the day to share their stories of home brewing and brewing knowledge!
